Mrs. Lama Almoazen

Mrs. Lama Almoazen, Principal, has over 25 years of experience in education, serving as a teacher, board member, and founding principal for more than 12 years. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and is pursuing a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Her leadership earned her school Cognia accreditation and a Level 4 PTQ rating for its early childhood program. She also leads a consulting firm supporting school accreditation, startup, and development.

 

Mrs. Ameena Alshoubaki
Toddler teacher

Mrs. Alshoubaki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Purdue University Northwest and has over 25 years of experience at Illiana Islamic Association educational programs. She is dedicated to nurturing children’s academic, social, and emotional development within a faith-based learning environment. She is also continuing her Islamic studies through Tajweed classes to deepen her connection with the Qur’an and further enrich her teaching practice.

Mrs. Huda Oubaid
Preschool/PreK (Quran and Arabic teacher)

Mrs. Huda Oubaid has over 20 years of experience teaching Quran and Islamic studies to young learners. She is certified in Nooraniyah instruction and holds an Ijazah in Quran recitation. Throughout her career, she has served at several Islamic schools and educational programs, including the Illiana Islamic Association, MAS Quran Institute, Knowledge Gate School, Noon Quranic Academy, and Indiana Horizon Academy. Passionate about nurturing children in a faith-based environment, Mrs. Oubaid is dedicated to helping students develop a strong love for the Qur’an while building a solid foundation in Islamic values and lifelong learning.

Ms. Maysa Musleh
Preschool & PreK English teacher

Ms. Musleh has an associate degree in Early Childhood. She has had the privilege of working with many schools in the area, gaining valuable experience and insight into how young children learn best through curiosity, exploration, and encouragement. Ms. Musleh believes that every child has unique strengths and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children feel confident and inspired to take on new challenges.

Mrs. Naheda Ashkar
Preschool & PreK Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies teacher

Mrs. Ashkar brings over 30 years of teaching experience and holds both a CDA credential and Quran certification. She has taught in several states and is deeply passionate about early childhood education. Mrs. Ashkar is dedicated to nurturing young learners while fostering a love for the Quran and a foundation for lifelong learning. She has been part of the early childhood program since its inception and played a pivotal role in laying its foundation.

Mrs. Alisha Hernandez

Mrs. Alisha Hernandez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and brings over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood, including six years as a classroom teacher. She is passionate about helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Mrs. Hernandez is dedicated to inspiring confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.

Mrs. Samira Ibrahim
KG & 1st grade Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies teacher

Mrs. Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s degree from Qudos Open University and has over ten years of experience teaching Quran, Arabic, and English across multiple grade levels. She completed her Ijazah in the Quran and earned the Itqan Certificate in Amman, Jordan. Passionate about nurturing students, Mrs. Ibrahim is committed to inspiring a love for the Quran and fostering a foundation for lifelong learning

Mrs. Danielle-Ann Bradford

1st/2nd grade teacher
 

Mrs. Danielle-Ann Bradford has over 10 years of experience in education and school operations, serving in roles including classroom teacher, assistant principal, and test coordinator. She has taught and worked in the United States, Japan, and Jamaica, bringing a global perspective to her teaching. Passionate about fostering academic excellence and social-emotional growth, Mrs. Bradford creates engaging learning experiences that integrate technology, encourage creativity, and build meaningful relationships with students and families.
